Alias: Joshua Marra; Living on Chicago's south side, anti-hero Josh works as a fry cook. With dreams of winning the Capitol Classic martial arts tournament, he has trained in Aikido for 7 years. He had recently qualified for his black belt and entered the 6th City Classic martial arts tournament in Cleveland, Ohio. While in Cleveland, he was unknowingly exposed to a dark matter explosion shock wave when he was near Chem-Tech Global Laboratories. As a result he acquired the ability to produce pulse waves from his hands. The harshness of his past has made Josh angry, bitter, and cynical and most who encounter him feel he is a complete and total ass. His motives are pure but his tactics are brutally harsh. Although he tries to never kill, he doesn’t seem to always live up to that lofty goal.
