THE BEREAVER

Alias: Roy Terry; his grandfather Royal, inexplicably dies and this bereft 17 year old “governmental” overhears a conversation that catapults him into the world of the “civilians”. A lowly, struggling world of want. The “civilians” live on the ground level of the city-state known as Globe City. It’s what would be considered “urban decay”. The “governmentals” live in and above the clouds. Far removed from the want and despair of the civilians. They enjoy a world of technology and plenty.

He meets an unknown friend called “Old Giez”. She teaches him ancient and forgotten forms of self-defense as he goes about his 5 year odyssey to not only learn the truth but also make sure that anyone involved pays the price. He starts as a young, innocent teenager and becomes a violent, focussed young man. Heaven help those that interfere.
