Everyone is a superhero in their own way

FutureGen Comics exists to help people and organizations see themselves as the hero of the story. Here is how a single comic for a single kid became a whole universe.

Our origin

It started with one girl and one comic

A young girl was told that comic books are for boys. Founder Keith A. Harris and his wife did not accept that, so they made her a comic book of her own, with a hero she could see herself in. The joy on her face was the spark. From that one book, Keith went on to create the FutureGen Universe and its 100+ original characters, all built on a simple belief: everyone deserves to be the hero of their own story.

The team

The creators who bring it to life

A studio is only as good as its artists and writers. These are some of the creators who have brought FutureGen stories to the page.

Founder, president, writer

Keith is the founder and president of FutureGen Comics, an award-winning entrepreneur and a published comic writer. A graduate of West Virginia State University and an alum of Twinsburg High School, he started the studio in 2016 after he and his wife made a comic for a young girl who had been told comic books are for boys. That one book grew into the FutureGen Universe of 100+ original characters, and into custom comics for families, schools, nonprofits, and organizations.
